FLO-2D is organizing a series of training events in Italy in June-July 2018 in occasion of the visit in Italy of Jim O’Brien, president of FLO-2D USA and main author of the FLO-2D software, one of the most used and reliable 2D hydraulic modelling software. Two 1-day free workshops will be organized to present the latest updates and features of the FLO-2D software and two 3 days professional courses. Download the brochure
The 3 days short courses are for everyone wishing to learn the FLO-2D software, both beginners and experts that want to improve on specific focus themes. The Perugia short course on July 9-11 for academics/researchers (Focus theme: 2D Hydraulic modelling, Debris flow, Sediment Transport and Dam Break) and the Rome short course (July 16-18, 2018) for professionals (2D Hydraulic modelling, Flood risk in urban areas). Short courses are taught in english with language assistance for Italian and Spanish attendees.
